THE HEART BEHIND EVERMORE

Meet Your Attorney

Nicole Copsidas, Esq.

Born and raised in Volusia County, I began my legal career working behind the scenes as a legal assistant and paralegal. I spent almost a decade learning the law from the ground up, and those years gave me invaluable, hands-on experience in case management, client communication, and the practical realities of the legal system. That knowledge still shapes how I practice today. I earned my law degree in 2013 and quickly found my passion in helping people navigate some of life’s (and death’s) most personal and challenging moments. Having worked on both sides of the desk, I bring a rare blend of technical skill, practical insight, and client-centered advocacy to every matter I handle.

I work and live in DeLand with my husband and three dogs. When I am not practicing law, you can likely find me enjoying the arts, solving puzzles, or exploring a new hobby.

My Commitment to You

Legal matters can feel overwhelming - but you don't have to go through them alone.  My goal is simple: to guide clients through complex legal matters with clarity, compassion, and a strategy that serves their long-term best interests.

I have been fortunate to learn from outstanding attorneys and colleagues, gaining the skills of a “big city” lawyer while embracing the personal attention and accessibility you might expect from a small-town practice.  My clients appreciate that I am not afraid to inject a little humor into the process, offer emotional support when the road gets tough, and always provide practical, realistic advice.

I believe the best legal solutions come from seeing the big picture – not just addressing the problem in front of you but protecting your future.  That’s why I approach every matter with efficiency in mind, tailoring each strategy to the unique needs of the person sitting across from me (whether literally or via Zoom).

I’m not your typical suit-and-tie attorney.  I value professionalism, but I also believe in being approachable, relatable, and human.  My mission is to modernize what people expect from a lawyer – showing that you can have both deep expertise and genuine connections in the same advocate.

Client Stories

“I was in need of legal services and was able to retain Nicole R. Copsidas as my attorney for a family estate matter. She was kind, understanding, and listened to me. I felt that Ms. Copsidas genuinely cared about me and my issue versus simply viewing me as ‘just another client.’ She was competent and maintained contact with me throughout the process. I highly recommend Ms. Copsidas and will be using her services in the future.”  --  Yvonne
